Career & Education Fair thanks supporters
The Northern Humboldt Union High School District would like to thank our sponsors and volunteer participants for making our recent Career & Education Fair a success. Over 400 students from Arcata, McKinleyville, and Six Rivers high schools attended the fair to learn about education, career, and volunteer opportunities.
Forty eight different organizations from business, education, nonprofit, military, and trades took time out of their workdays to host booths at the fair. A special thank you to College of the Redwoods and the Decade of Difference for serving as our co-sponsors, to North coast Cal-SOAP for providing goodie bags for students, to Humboldt LIVE! for providing a $100 scholarship for our raffle winner, and to Decade of Difference Coordinator Heidi Moore for giving our keynote address.
This Career & Education Fair was another example of how our community is willing to support and mentor our young people.
