Spirit AeroSystems Holdings (SPR) Has Climbed To A New High On Q2 Earnings

Spirit AeroSystems Holdings (SPR)_reported second quarter EPS of $1.01 Friday morning, compared to the loss of $1.47 last year. Analysts expected EPS of $0.68. The company also lifted its full-year earnings per share guidance to a range of $2.90 to $3.05 from the prior guidance of $2.50 to $2.65. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $2.95.

Spirit AeroSystems gapped up sharply Friday morning and is now up 3.42 at $35.99 in early trade. The stock has risen past resistance and has set a new high for the year.
