The company also lifted its full-year earnings per share guidance to a range of $2.90 to $3.05 from the prior guidance of $2.50 to $2.65. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $2.95.
Spirit AeroSystems gapped up sharply Friday morning and is now up 3.42 at $35.99 in early trade. The stock has risen past resistance and has set a new high for the year.
