Crocs Says Gregg Ribatt Takes Over As New CEO - Quick Facts

Crocs, Inc. (CROX) announced that Gregg Ribatt has joined Crocs as the company's chief executive officer, effective today. His appointment was announced in December 2014. Ribatt will also continue to serve as a director of the company. He will be based in Crocs' new Global Commercial Center in suburban Boston.

Ribatt joins Crocs with more than 20 years of executive leadership and outstanding performance in consumer branded wholesale and retail organizations in footwear and apparel.

Most recently, Ribatt served as interim CEO of Spanx, Inc. Previously, he served as president and CEO of Collective Brands Performance & Lifestyle Group.

Further, Crocs announced the appointment of Jason Giordano, managing director of Private Equity firm Blackstone Group L.P. (BX), to its board of directors.

The company also said that Andrew Rees, who had been serving as Crocs' principal executive officer prior to Ribatt's appointment, will continue in his role as president of the Crocs brand, reporting to Ribatt.
