EgoSecure GmbH, Germany-based end point security solutions company, has announced its foray into Indian market in the city.
EgoSecure CEO Sergej Schlotthauer has announced the launch of its end-point, a solution integrating protection mechanism for common devices and data paths in single architecture.
The companies had hitherto worked with products on a piecemeal basis to ensure security of their information, but EgoSecure offered a single point solution for devices ranging from USB sticks to mobiles.
The company had appointed the city-based Zoom Technologies India Pvt. Ltd as its nation-wide distributor.
It had plans to invest around US $ 1 million in setting up a facility with a headcount of 30 over the next one year.
Support system
The Hyderabad centre was aimed at supporting its marketing efforts in the country and at the same time, contributing to the global research and development activities.
The country’s security solutions market was estimated to be around US $ 250 million and EgoSecure was planning to capture close to 15 per cent of the market share.
