F5 Networks Inc. (FFIV) Dropped To A 3-Month Low On Weak Q2 Guidance

F5 Networks Inc. (FFIV) reported first quarter adjusted EPS of $1.55, up from $1.22 in the prior year period. Revenues rose 14% to $462.8 million from $406.5 million a year ago. The consensus estimates were for EPS of $1.49 and revenues of $467.25 million. The company expects to report second quarter non-GAAP EPS of $1.48 to $1.51. Analysts are expecting EPS of $1.53.

F5 Networks gapped open sharply lower Thursday morning, but was range-bound throughout the session. The stock finished with a loss of 12.55 at $113.40 on the highest volume of the year. F5 Networks sank to a 3-month low and fell below its 200-day moving average.
