Orbitz Worldwide Misses Q3 EPS

Orbitz Worldwide, Inc. OWW announced results Thursday for the third quarter ended September 30, 2014.

Revenues came in at $253.135 million, an increase of 26 percent over the same period in 2013, in line with the average estimate of $252.99 million.

Earnings Per Share were $0.08, below estimates of $0.14 and the $0.11 reported in the year-ago period.

According to the company’s press release, room nights increased 19 percent year-over-year in the third quarter 2014.

Net revenue increased 15 percent year-over-year to $253.1 million in the third quarter 2014.

Net income was $9.0 million in the third quarter 2014 and Adjusted EBITDA was $46.8 million..

The full 2014 outlook saw net revenue growth between 9 and 10 percent year-over-year and Adjusted EBITDA growth between 8 and 10 percent year-over-year.

For 2015 the company guided net revenue growth in the mid single digits year-over-year and Adjusted EBITDA growth in the mid to high single digits year-over-year.

Orbitz Worldwide, Inc. traded at $8.32 in the premarket, down 1.89 percent.
