Allahabad, Oct 20 (ANI): People of Uttar Pradesh are making conscious efforts to use indigenous products instead of Chinese items on the occasion of Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, to revive the traditional aspect of the festival. The residents of Allahabad are going for traditional products this year, even if it means paying more to foster the business of Indian micro, small and medium enterprises. Meanwhile, a group called 'Swadeshi Jagran Manch' - the economic wing of Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh - staged a protest to boycott the use of Chinese products and promote the usage of indigenous products.
