Sify ties up with Akamai Technologies

CHENNAI: Technology firm Sify Technologies on Monday announced a partnership with cloud service provider Akamai Technologies.
This partnership will enable Sify to offer Akamai's solutions in web acceleration and applications delivery to its enterprise customers across India.
"We believe that this partnership will help Akamai reach out to a new set of customers through Sify and help expand our footprint across India," said Sidharth Malik, MD, Akamai Technologies.
The collaboration is intended to target clients in banking and financial services, IT enabled services and manufacturing verticals. "This partnership allows Sify to extend multiple leverages to clients," said Kamal Nath, CEO, Sify Technologies.
By mitigating the complexities of internet, companies will be able to enhance user experience for their global employee, customer and partner bases while providing a comprehensive and highly secure platform for their online applications, the press statement said.
