Regina Crimestoppers in Canada suffered an indignity after a car formally used by the charity and still bearing its logo and contact details was stolen.
Local police released the following statement: ‘The Regina police would like to advise that this vehicle is not in the possession of Crime Stoppers, and that persons currently using this vehicle do not represent Regina Crime Stoppers.’
Those who have any information, the police have asked to call crime stoppers on 1-800-222-8477, which will still be on the side of the stolen vehicle.
