Investigation Discovery launches murder mystery series, Khooni Saaya

The series will premiere on June 1 and will air from Monday to Saturday at 8 pm on ID.

For all those who love to watch thrilling mysteries, especially those related to crime, Investigation Discovery (ID) has some good news. A captivating new series called 'Khooni Saaya', hosted by prominent film and television actor, Rohit Roy, will showcase the twisted tales of murder mysteries.

In each episode of 'Khooni Saaya', Roy will present a new murder mystery offering an in-depth look into the evil that can lurk within a neighborhood. Interviews with investigators, prosecutors, family members and neighbors will form a part of the process involved in solving these crimes.

Sharing details of the programme, Arun Thapar, vice president, programming, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, says, "In less than six month of its launch, ID has been recognised for its sharp and compelling storytelling. Our new series, 'Khooni Saaya', brings forth murder stories that have shocked people with brilliant reconstruction and in-depth investigation. Rohit Roy, the host of the series, will entertain viewers with his gripping narrative and impactful presentation style."

ID presents real-life crime stories that give a glimpse into the unlawful mind, compelling mysteries and suspense stories. 'Dangerous Persuasions', 'Redrum', 'The Mind Of A Murderer', 'Twisted Minds', 'Homicide', 'Cheated', 'Blood Relatives' and 'Disappeared' are some of the most popular shows on ID. The channel, launched in January 2008, claims to reach 16 million subscribers in Asia Pacific.
