Rosetta Resources Q1 Profit Down - Quick Facts

Rosetta Resources, Inc. (ROSE) Monday reported first-quarter profit of $35.2 million, or $0.57 per share, down from $53.5 million or $1.01 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter were $45.6 million or $0.74 per share. On average, 26 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.84 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased to $214.6 million from $178.1 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $240.97 million.
