"By collectively purchasing solar, the community of Seneca County will be able to take advantage of the bulk pricing discount that Arista Power is offering. This bulk pricing, coupled with government incentives and technology advancements in solar panels, makes solar energy in New York a more viable and environmentally favorable energy option. We're excited to help bring this program to Seneca County," said Thomas Kime, Chairman of the Seneca County IDA.

Robert Aronson, Executive Director of the Seneca County IDA, said, "Arista Power will provide Seneca County area businesses and residents the opportunity to learn more about solar energy as a way to lower their electricity costs in an environmentally friendly way. In addition, Arista Power will work with local contractors and our educational institutions."

Bill Schmitz, CEO of Arista Power, said, "As our solar sales continue to grow, we are offering community solar purchasing programs in areas that show a demographic of constituents that are curious about the economics of clean, independent energy. These programs mimic the model that we successfully implemented with the Solarize Madison County program. After meeting with the progressive leadership at the IDA of Seneca County, we have decided to offer the program to the community in Seneca County, New York.

"Solar buyers in New York are realizing how effective solar energy generation works and, in many cases, they are able to eliminate over 90% of their electric bill. By collaborating with community leaders, local contractors, and area educational institutions, the Solarize Seneca program will benefit not just the environment, but will also build community bonds, and support the local economy and solar buyers' pocketbooks."

Solarize Seneca is a solar purchasing program that will be available to the Seneca County community. The program features bulk pricing, a complete, streamlined process from site assessment to installation and tax incentive form assistance, educational workshops, and local workforce training. The program will be available to all Seneca County residents, commercial entities, agricultural, institutions, and municipalities on a first come, first serve basis for a limited time. Site assessments are complimentary. Interested parties should visit www.aristapower.com and click on Solarize Seneca to sign up to receive more information.
