Acorn International Announces Appointment of New Executive Chairman

Roche has stepped down as an executive chairman on August 26, 2014 but will remain with Acorn as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company (the "Board"). The Board appointed Mr. Don Dongjie Yang, the chief executive officer of the Company, as the new executive chairman on the same date, effective immediately.
