    Will quit if unable to meet people's expectations: ​Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje

    JODHPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has said that she would quit if she fails to meet the expectations of people.

    "I have been given a mandate for five years and not just one year. If I could not do anything in rest of the period, I would quit myself," she said while addressing a gathering at village Kankani after laying foundation stone of a 400 kw Grid Sub-Station.

    Raje has been facing opposition's criticism for failing to deliver in an year's time after she assumed office.

    "I have completed just 151 days in governance and not even one year. Nothing significant can be done in this period. But still a lot has been done in the fields of water, power, roads, medical & health, education and employment," she said.

    Raje thanked people for giving mandate to the BJP in assembly, parliamentary and municipal elections and urged them to continue enforcing their trust in the party in Panchayat election also, which are round the corner.
