Some restaurants around Los Angeles are opening their doors and offering food and drinks to enjoy on Fat Tuesday.

Preux & Proper, which brings a taste of New Orleans to Downtown Los Angeles, is just one hot spot that plans to feature a special Fat Tuesday menu. Items include a muffaletta board, smoke shrimp beignets, crispy frog legs, fried oyster po’boy sandwich, sauteed greens, banana bread pudding and flour-less chocolate cake.
