Bihar board

"The Bihar Board Class X and Class XII results are likely to be declared at 04:00 p.m. on Monday April 27. At the scheduled time, the results will be displayed on the board's official website", the sources said.

It is also learnt that for Class 12, only Science stream results will be declared on April 27.

The board however is completely silent on the actual date for the results announcement.

"Last year, the Bihar Board Results for Intermediate Examination i.e. the Bihar Class 12 Results were announced for the Bihar Class 12 Science Results and Bihar Inter Commerce Result was announced on May 27, and on May 30 the Bihar Class 12th Result Arts / Vocational Streams were announced.

"The Bihar Intermediate Results 2015 are expected to be announced for around 9 lakh students and are likely to be announced around the same dates this year too", the board website reads, advising the student to log on to it regularly for the update.

Last year, the Class 10 results were delcared on June 03. The board website reads: "This year too, the Bihar Class X Results 2015 is likely to be announced around the same date."

When announced, both the results will be available on Bihar board official website.

The Bihar Matric Class 10 results are announced for over 14 lakh students every year, and is announced simultaneously across all districts of Bihar by the Education Minister of the state.

The Class 12 exam was held from February 18 to March 03 whereas the Class 10 exam began on March 17 and ended on March 24.

A total of 14.26 lakh students had appeared for the Class 10 exam held at 1,217 different centres in the state. Over 09 lakh students had appeared for the Class 12 exams known as Intermediate Examination or simply Inter.

This year's class 10 exams was marred by large scale cheating. In a bizarre case, dozens of people -- said to be family members of the students -- were seen climbing the walls of an exam centre and flinging answer sheets into various rooms where their wards were writing the exam in Vaishali district.

In Ara, Bhojpur's district headquarters, police had to resort to a baton charge to disperse people helping students to copy in the examination.
