Williams-Sonoma Inc. issued guidance that missed estimates as the high-end home retailer said it expects the effects of a West Coast port job action to weigh on results. But the company also reported solid earnings and continued revenue growth for the fourth quarter. CEO Laura Alber said the retailer expected the job action “to have a more significant impact through the first half of 2015.” For the quarter, the firm sees per-share earnings of up to 45 cents and revenue up to $1.01 billion. Analysts see 54 cents on revenue of $1.04 billion.
