Several bystanders pulled a pregnant woman to safety after she fell onto the train tracks at the State Street MBTA station Saturday morning.Watch NewsCenter 5's reportThere were no trains in the area when the woman fell onto the tracks at around 7:30 a.m., according to MBTA officials.The woman had a seizure, causing her to fall six feet into the pit of the westbound Orange Line tracks, according to Boston EMS.Bystanders jumped down onto the tracks to pull the woman to safety, according to MBTA officials. The woman made no contact with the third rail in the fall, according to MBTA officials. She was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The woman and her baby are expected to recover.

There were no trains in the area when the woman fell onto the tracks at around 7:30 a.m., according to MBTA officials.

The woman had a seizure, causing her to fall six feet into the pit of the westbound Orange Line tracks, according to Boston EMS.

Bystanders jumped down onto the tracks to pull the woman to safety, according to MBTA officials. 

The woman made no contact with the third rail in the fall, according to MBTA officials. She was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. 

The woman and her baby are expected to recover.
