The Canadian Pacific Railway say in an email statement at 5:45pm on April 13, a slow-moving yard derailment involving seven cars containing lumber and wood pulp products occurred in the Sudbury yard.
There were no spills and all cars remained upright, they say, there were also no injuries and no public safety issues.
"CP's protocols were immediately activated and all safety precautions and measures were taken as our crews responded to the incident," the email states.
An investigation is underway.
This did not impact the main line as this was a yard derailment, according to the Canadian Pacific Railway.
