In early trading on Monday, shares of Discovery Communications (DISCA) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 1.2%. Year to date, Discovery Communications has lost about 0.6% of its value.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Staples (SPLS), trading down 2.2%. Staples is lower by about 13.4% looking at the year to date performance.
One other component making moves today is Western Digital (WDC), trading down 1.7%.
