DEARBORN (WKZO) — Nearly 50-thousand Ford Motor Company employees are set to receive smaller profit-sharing checks this year.
According to officials with the automaker, checks averaging 69-hundred dollars will be cut on March 12th for the company’s hourly workers. That’s less than the record 8,800-dollar checks Ford workers received last year.
Ford reported global earnings of 3.2-billion dollars last year following a rough fourth-quarter which saw revenues down 52-million from a year ago.
