Northrop Grumman has named Patrick Antkowiak corporate vice president and chief technology officer, where he will help develop and execute corporate technology strategy.

Northrop Grumman has named Patrick Antkowiak corporate vice president and chief technology officer, where he will help develop and execute corporate technology strategy.

In his new role, Antkowiak will set new technology plans and serve as primary interface with technology leaders in the customer community, with industry and university research partners, Northrop Grumman said in a release.

Antkowiak joined Northrop Grumman in 1981, holding a number of positions in engineering, program management and product development. He was most recently vice president and general manager of the Advanced Concepts and Technologies Division in the company’s Electronic Systems sector.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Maryland.
