Lennar faces labor shortage during building boom

Lennar Corp. is in the midst of building hundreds of homes across South Florida, but it is facing a labor shortage.

In response, the company is holding an all-day expo next month at the Signature Grand in Davie to recruit building contractors, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

The homebuilding giant is looking for roofers, electricians, fence painters and construction managers.

Miami-based Lennar is currently building throughout Palm Beach and Broward counties, including more than 700 homes at the Mira Lago development in Parkland. Its other projects are in Davie, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, West Palm Beach and Jupiter. [Sun-Sentinel] – Christopher Cameron
