Hey guys i was building my new computer, this is my first ever attempt at building one and thins have gone wrong and idk what. So when i first powered it on... my gpu produced a zap and some i could see some electrical discharge for like a millisecond then i turned it off.. reconnected it .. found out one of the psu connections was a bit loose so did all that then turned it on and my front panel isnt working at all... my power buttoin , reset ,led's etc.
I have all the connections done properly i have tripple checked.. power led plus to plus and minus to minus... arrow on the pwr switch connector on the pwr and other side on ground etc.
I dont think its fried my oarts as there is a light on in my gpu where psu connector connects and also a light on on the mobo above pwr switch and pwr led button at bottom of mobo.
i have a corsair 230 T case
XFX XTR 750 psu
asus strix gtx 970 gpu
Asus Z97-A
initial rig turn on attempt had that zap and i dont think the front panel lights were on even then.. but im not sure on this fact.
update: when i press the power switch and power led button at the bottom of the mobo it doesnt turn on?? ye theres a green light to it...
