The Philips HeartStart XL M4735A Defibrillator is a Biphasic Defibrillator designed for use in Hospital and Clinical Settings. This unit comes from the long line of HP Codemaster XL defibrillators which were the industry standard for years on Crash Carts.
The M4735A can be under the Brand Badges of Agilent or Philips as they both owned the previous business unit that was Hewlett Packard Medical.
The M4735A Defibrillators are all Biphasic models and come in 3 configurations: AED/Defibrillation only, AED/Debib with Pacing, and then can also have SpO2 added (which is a proprietary HP/Philips SpO2 Module)
These options are listed as Option codes on the back of each unit next to the Serial Number.
This unit is great for Crash Cart use and is very reliable, and has a easily removable rechargeable battery for back up use.

Of all of the HP Codemaster XL defibrillator thi unit is one of my favorites. An extremely reliable defibrillator.
