If Amazon isn’t your thing then a couple of new options for placing a pre-order for the Nexus 9 have just opened up. Best Buy is one, with the big box retailer offering up WiFi and LTE models. You can choose between the WiFi-only editions in 16GB or 32GB for $399 and $479 in both Lunar White and Indigo Black, or opt for a 32GB T-Mobile LTE model for a cool $599 (though you’ll only be able to get it in Indigo Black.

HTC also has the device, but they only have the WiFi model in 16GB and 32GB for both colors — that means you’ll have to go through Best Buy if you want the LTE model as Amazon does not carry it either. That, or wait for the tablet to appear on Google Play at some point later today. Head the the source links to play your orders and expect them to ship starting early next week.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. I’m definitely getting this! I’m gonna download an emulator and play my old school strategy RPGs on it

  2. also has anyone seen the news on the xperia z4? its said to have a quad HD display, snapdragon 810 processor, and a much better camera. its always good to hold off on buying tech.

    1. The only problem with holding off is that you will never buy anything because something better is always just around the corner.

      1. well you do eventually settle.

        1. I’ve noticed a pattern with Android devices, so far as I’m personally concerned anyway… They tend to cycle every 6 months. If you don’t jump on what you want inside of the first 6 months of it’s release, don’t even bother buying it because either someone else will offer something better, the one you want gets refreshed, or it’s a matter of waiting till the annual release of what you were getting in the first place. Of course you eventually settle, out of necessity mostly.

How long would you be willing to wait on a tablet or phone if you really want or need one? More or less than 6 months? Of course all bets are off if you, like me, know exactly what you want. I look forward to a Nexus phone every year, except this year. I’m willing to wait till they get smaller. I’ve had the same Nexus 7 since 2012, I slept on the 2013, and now the ’12 is completely unusable, glad I waited because this one is a beast. Now, I’m buying it for Christmas.

      1. look it up, I’m 32 years old. I don’t have time for childishness
