Stan Lee will return for Kevin Smith's Mallrats 2.
The Marvel Comics legend has been confirmed for a role in the recently-announced sequel to the 1995 comedy.
Speaking at Emerald City Comicon in Seattle, Lee said that his role would be bigger than a short cameo.
He appeared as himself in the original movie.
"Almost every day, I get invited to do a cameo in some movie or another that has nothing to do with Marvel," said Lee (via CBR).
"They just call me up [and say], 'Hey, we're doing a movie. Do you want to do a cameo?' It's kind of funny - I've become known as a cameo specialist."
Lee is known for his appearance in the majority of Marvel movie adaptations, including The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men: The Last Stand and the Iron Man films.
Smith announced in March that he is planning a sequel to Mallrats.
