The Travel Institute Offers Two New Learning Opportunities for Agents

The Travel Institute has announced that it will be offering two upcoming learning opportunities for travel professionals, the “Promote Your Professionalism” program in July and the “Get Sales Fit” program in August. 

The second annual “Promote Your Professionalism” program will help agents learn to sell and market their experiences and accomplishments. Last year, over 2,000 people participated in this month-long program, and the Institute anticipates a similar turnout this year with the introduction of four new webinar series, certification scholarships and more. Webinars will air on July 9 at 11 am EDT, July 14 at 1 pm EDT, July 21 at 1 pm EDT and July 28 at 1 pm EDT. The webinars and program events are free for members and $19.99 for non-members. 

In August, the “Get Sales Fit” program will be hosted by sales educator Carol Parsons. Through two one-hour online sessions, travel agents will learn to fully understand the travel consumer, match the right product to clients, overcome objections in the workplace, cross-sell and up-scale techniques, social media tips and more. The online sessions will air August 13 and 20 at noon EDT and cost $99 for members and $139 for nonmembers.
