Man killed after diving under carnival ride

A man allegedly killed himself Thursday by diving underneath a carnival ride at a festival in a Chicago suburb.

The man, who was attending an annual festival called Ribfest in Naperville, Ill., jumped in front of Pharaoh's Fur, a ride where people are swung back and forth, CBS News reported.

The Naperville Police Department tweeted they are conducting a death investigation, but the incident appears to be an "intentional act by (the) victim."

Naperville Police did not immediately respond to request for comment.
