USA Truck Names Alexander Greene to Its Board [Manufacturing Close - Up](Manufacturing Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) USA Truck has appointed Alexander D. Greene to its Board of Directors. With the addition of Greene, USA Truck said that its Board now expands to 10 members. In its release, the Company said Greene brings over 30 years of corporate finance and private equity experience to the Board of USA Truck. Greene was most recently a Managing Partner and head of U.S. Private Equity at Brookfield Asset Management, a global asset manager with over $175 billion of assets under management. At Brookfield, he led a team that invested in companies where operational improvement and strategic guidance were primary drivers of value creation. USA Truck Chairman Robert A. Peiser said: "I have known and worked with Alex for many years, and we are delighted to have him join our Board. We believe the financial, business and strategic acumen he has demonstrated throughout his distinguished career will be extremely valuable to USA Truck as we work to further improve the Company's financial performance and create long-term shareholder value." Prior to joining Brookfield, Greene served as an investment banker to large- and mid-cap businesses, boards of directors and other constituencies, focusing on leveraged finance, merger and acquisition and recapitalization transactions. His positions included serving as a Managing Director and co-head of Carlyle Strategic Partners and as a Managing Director of Wasserstein Perella & Co. Greene is a director of CWC Energy Services, a provider of drilling and service rigs and other services to oil and gas producers in Canada. Greene previously served on the Board of Longview Fibre Paper & Packaging. USA Truck is a transportation and logistics provider.
