ASHEVILLE – After being closed for more than 90 days, Buckle has reopened in a newly remodeled store at the Asheville Mall.

Located across from the H&M and next to Payless ShoeSource, Buckle will carry a mix of clothing, shoes and accessories for both men and women inside its new new 5,401 square foot space. The store has been a fixture at the Asheville Mall since 2000.

"Store remodels are an ongoing process as we look to bring the best offerings and new store design to our customers," said Catharine Wells, marketing director for CBL & Associates Properties, which owns the Asheville Mall.

According to an announcement from the Asheville Mall, the Buckle sells a wide selection of fits, styles and finishes from leading denim brands, including the company's exclusive brand, BKE, along with Big Star, Big Star Vintage, Rock Revival, MEK Denim, Miss Me, Buffalo, ReClaim, Silver Jeans and more.

In all, Buckle represents more than 200 fashion brands in its stores and online.

In addition to its retail offerings, the store also provides services including free hemming, gift-packaging, layaway and personal fittings with a Buckle stylist.

Buckle will be accepting applications for various positions. According to a search on Buckle's corporate website, seven jobs — three full-time and four part-time — were listed for the new Buckle store in Asheville.

Headquartered in Kearney, Nebraska, Buckle currently operates 463 stores in 44 states, including 13 in North Carolina.
