T-Mobile Offers Free Android Tablet From November 21 In Black Friday Deal

Wireless provider T-Mobile US, Inc. (TMUS) said Tuesday that it is offering its existing customers a free 7-inch Android tablet as part of its Black Friday deal, a week earlier.

Bellevue, Washington-based T-Mobile US, the fourth-largest US wireless carrier, provides services through its subsidiaries and operates its flagship brands, T-Mobile and MetroPCS. Deutsche Telekom owns 66 percent of T-Mobile.

T-Mobile said that starting Friday, November 21 at participating T-Mobile stores across the country, existing T-Mobile customers can get the 7-inch Android-powered tablet, the Alcatel OneTouch Pop 7, for free with any qualifying data plan of 1GB or higher. Customers only need to pay the sales tax.

The tablet has a retail price of $168 at T-Mobile. If a customer cancels the T-Mobile wireless service contract before the expiry of 24 months, the remaining tablet balance price of up to $168 will become due, T-Mobile noted.

The tablet deal will be available to everyone from Saturday, November 22. Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, falls on November 28 this year.

John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile said, "This tablet deal is our way of saying thank you. Thank you for joining the Un-carrier revolution and making T-Mobile the fastest-growing wireless company in the U.S."
