China Ming Yang Wind Power Names Longgen Zhang To Board - Quick Facts

China Ming Yang Wind Power Group Ltd. (MY) has appointed Longgen Zhang to its board of directors, who would replace Cole Capener, who has served as an independent director since November 2013. Ming Yang also announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Calvin Lau, would be succeeded by Ng Kwok Yin, Ricky. Lau would be the executive director of Ming Yang Wind Power (International) Co., Ltd., an unit of Ming Yang. The appointments come into effect immediately.

Longgen Zhang has abundant experience in accounting, financial management and operation. Currently, he is the CFO of JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (JKS). Prior to joining JinkoSolar, he served as a director and the CFO of Xinyuan Real Estate Co. Ltd, a company listed on the NYSE.

Integrated payments company American Express reported on Friday the net profit for the first quarter grew 35 percent from last year, driven by revenue growth across all its operating segments, partially offset by higher provisions for credit losses.
