Rosamund Pike in talks to star in 'The Mountain Between Us'

If Pike's deal comes to fruition, she will join "Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam in the flick.

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Actress Rosamund Pike is reportedly negotiating a role in director Hany Abu-Assad's upcoming drama The Mountain Between Us.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox is producing the motion picture, which is based on author Charles Martin's 2010 novel. The Mountain Between Us tells the story of a pair of plane crash survivors who fall in love as they nurse each other's wounds and attempt to survive in the mountains.

If Pike's deal comes to fruition, she will join Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam in the flick.

Pike is best known for her starring role in David Fincher's drama Gone Girl and will next star in the thriller Return To Sender.

The 35-year-old actress is currently expecting her second child with her boyfriend Robie Uniacke.
