Computer Programs and Systems Q1 net income increasesMay 08, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Computer Programs and Systems Inc., a healthcare information technology company, has reported that net income for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013 was $6.94 million, or $0.63 per share, compared to $5.65 million, or $0.51 per share, for the same quarter ended March 31, 2012. Total sales revenues for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013 were $49.55 million, compared to $44.49 million for the same quarter ended March 31, 2012. Operating income for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013 was $10.11 million, compared to $9 million for the same quarter ended March 31, 2012.
