• Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint has opened it first Colorado location in The Gardens in Havana Shopping Center, 10601 E. Garden Drive in Aurora. The fast-casual chain has 29 locations in 13 states.
• DBMEDx Inc., a privately-held, wireless medical device company, announced that it has received clearance from the Food and Drug Administration to market a device measuring bladder volume.
• Tri Pointe Homes Colorado announced the acquisition of 115 lots in southeast Aurora. TRI Pointe’s new community, “Whispering Pines,” will include 115 single-family detached homes. Sales are expected to begin in the fourth quarter.
• First Western Trust is now offering mortgage lending services through its subsidiary, First Western Trust Mortgage.
• Ohio developers Edward and Herbert Newman and their partners acquired Ram’s Crossing properties in Fort Collins for $58 million. Ram’s Crossing consists of five properties at three locations located around Colorado State University.
• The Primavera Group will assume the media relations and strategic public relations contract for the Colorado BioScience Association.
