Lexington Homes Reaches 75-Percent-Sold Milestone at Park Ridge Place Townhomes in Park Ridge

Prior to completing construction on the first building, Lexington has already sold 75 percent of the homes at Park Ridge Place

Prior to completing construction on the first building, Chicago-based Lexington Homes has already sold 75 percent of the homes at Park Ridge Place, a gated community of 16 townhomes in the upscale suburb of Park Ridge. First move-ins are scheduled for September 2015.

Located on Dee Road, a quarter mile south of Touhy Road, Park Ridge Place offers buyers upscale new-construction townhomes with the option of two floor plans, The Warrington and The Coventry, at 1,758 and 1,913 square feet. The townhomes are based-priced from $379,490 and $392,490. By comparison, many single-family homes in Park Ridge are priced well over $1 million.

“The size and features of the homes, combined with their desirable location, have made Park Ridge Place a popular option for everyone from first-time homebuyers to empty nesters,” said Jeff Benach, co-principal of Lexington Homes. “For example, luxury finishes such as granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, ceramic flooring in the entryway and baths and hardwood flooring throughout the main level come standard in every home at Park Ridge Place.

“Additionally, Park Ridge is one of those rare Chicago suburbs that are close to everything, only 15 miles from downtown Chicago and a short drive to popular shopping and entertainment destinations in downtown Park Ridge and the Rosemont entertainment district. The community also offers convenient access to O’Hare International Airport, several major expressways, and Metra’s Union Pacific/Northwest Line, which connects Park Ridge to downtown Chicago,” Benach added.

As one of Chicago’s oldest private homebuilders, Lexington Homes is continually recognized for its award-winning townhome designs. Park Ridge Place is another example of Lexington’s commitment to delivering thoughtfully designed homes with all of the features today’s buyers are looking for, including spacious living areas, well-planned kitchens, and flexible spaces such as dens and lower-level bonus rooms.

“Our townhomes are popular because we can easily adapt and refine them to meet our customers’ needs,” said Benach. “By staying flexible, we provide homebuyers with more design options, making them feel like their new home was designed to meet their specific needs.”

Each floor plan at Park Ridge Place includes a master suite, complete with a walk-in closet and private master bath with a soaking tub and/or walk-in shower and granite double-bowl vanity tops. The Warrington model offers buyers the option to choose a second master suite that includes a walk-in closet and private bath, as well as the convenience of having an upstairs laundry room.

Also included in both plans is a gourmet kitchen that features a large island and breakfast area that connects to an outdoor balcony on one end and a spacious great room on the other. In addition, The Warrington features a main-level den that can also double as an office or playroom.

According to Benach, another attractive feature included in both designs is a finished lower level that creates additional usable space, which can be used for a media room or exercise room or a combination of both.

Standard features in Park Ridge Place homes include granite countertops in the kitchen and master bath, stainless steel GE appliances, 42-inch upper kitchen cabinets, three-inch-plank hardwood flooring throughout the main level and ceramic flooring in entryways and baths.

Park Ridge Place is adjacent to the Chippewa Woods Forest Preserve, providing a natural setting for a variety of recreational opportunities. Additionally, the community is a short drive from the Park Ridge Metra station and minutes from I-294 and I-90, making Park Ridge Place convenient for those commuting to the Loop.

For residents with high school-age children, Park Ridge Place is a quarter mile from Maine South High School, known for its academic, athletic and fine arts success and as the alma mater of Hillary Rodham Clinton.
