Ltd has reportedly agreed to pick up the Baccarat Hotel in Manhattan for more than $230 million, which would value the property at a record $2 million per room, the Wall Street Journal said, citing unnamed sources. The buzz follows on the heels of Anbag Insurance Group Co. Ltd. scoring approval from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. for its blockbuster $1.95 billion Waldorf-Astoria deal. A source tells Law360 Greenberg Traurig LLP is representing seller Starwood Capital Group in the sale of the hotel, though couldn't confirm specifics of the deal....
