Star Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green has seen his jersey sales take a dip as the year has gone on.

The Cincinnati Bengals got off to a hot start to the season, having many believing that they were the best team in the NFL at one point. Also at one point, star wide receiver A.J. Green had one of the best selling jerseys in the entire league.

Well with the team losing three games after they got off to their 3-0 start and Green missing time on the field battling injuries, the former Georgia standout is seeing his lowest jersey sale numbers of the 2014 season, according to the DICK’S Sporting Goods Jersey Report, which reflects sales both nationwide and online.

After Week 11, Green sits in the No. 29 position on the overall rankings list for the year.

Green, considered by many to be one of the fastest rising stars in the league, has played in seven games on the season, catching 29 balls for 508 yards with just four touchdowns. This hasn’t exactly been the ideal year for Green so far, but again, an ankle injury has put a damper on his time on the field, and apparently, how steadily his jersey is selling on the market.

With the Bengals still looking to make a playoff push and A.J. Green getting healthier, though, things could be looking up for his sales as the year starts to come to a close in 2014.
