In a 5.2 x 3.8 x 1.1mm package, it includes:

Three axis 14bit accelerometer

Three axis 16bit gyroscope with a range of ±2000 degrees per second

Three axis geo-magnetic sensor

32-bit Atmel SAM D20 (ARM Cortex M0+) microcontroller running BSX3.0 FusionLib software

Bosch BNO055 Xplained Pro“BNO055 is suited for applications such as augmented reality, immersive gaming, personal health and fitness, and indoor navigation,” said German distributor Ineltek, which is promoting the part in the UK.

There is also a development board, the BNO055 Xplained Pro, available for $19 from the Atmel webstore.

  1. In my time when there were chips,it takes me back to your world.:and as for accelerometergyor’s.I am still working on elect
ro magnetic. Generators÷ sendme more news on your 3D. gyropostnews.

  2. Cheap IMUs with better sensors, open source software and more powerful processors are available in many places, currently using an Openpilot.org CC3D in some research. It can also be used for quadcopters and cost only $15. There is a smaller one also called the Atom which is not much more.

    Both have STM32 F1s.
