Chemical Accelerator For Microsoft Dynamics AX Now Available
Atlanta, GA (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Convergence 2011 -- Edgewater Fullscope, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Edgewater Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:EDGW) (http://www.edgewater.com), today announced the general availability of its Chemical Accelerator for Microsoft Dynamics AX to deliver additional industry-specific features needed by many chemical manufacturers for more efficient operations. Fullscope has additional accelerators planned for pharmaceutical, life sciences, and food and beverage industries.
The Chemical Accelerator includes functionality to help chemical manufacturers manage active ingredients throughout their operations by enabling them to buy raw materials and cost finished goods more precisely by potency; scale formulas up or down, automatically, by the identification of potent ingredients; track lot inheritance; and define product sequencing, which is evaluated based on multiple characteristics, to reduce downtime and changeover costs in the production schedule. It is integrated with the Process Industry layer of Microsoft Dynamics AX, an industry-specific product that Fullscope originally developed.
