BRADENTON, FL--(Marketwired - Aug 13, 2014) - Evolucia Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ILED) has been awarded another patent for its Aimed Optics™ LED lighting system, the core of the company's product line and featured implementation that has been recognized in studies and reviews by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD). Evolucia's Aimed Optics™ Cobra Head fixtures were also recognized as the Best Product in the 19th International Fair of Lighting Equipment.

Recently published and valid for 20 years, Patent No. 5526302 was awarded to Evolucia by the Japanese Patent Office for a "Light unit with light output pattern synthesized from multiple light sources."
