Airgas Inc. (ARG) announced Friday morning that it now expects to report fourth quarter EPS of $1.13 to $1.16, compared to previous guidance of $1.25 to $1.30. Analysts expect EPS of $1.27.
Looking ahead for fiscal 2015, the company now expects earnings per share to be between $4.83 and $4.86. Analysts expect earnings of $4.97 per share. The company said in February that it expected EPS of $4.95 to $5.00.
Airgas has gapped open sharply lower Friday morning and is now down 4.05 at $108.96. The stock has fallen to its lowest level since late October and has dropped below its 200-day moving average.
