The successor of the Meizu M1 Note phablet, which was released earlier this year, recently went on sale via online retailers this month. The new Meizu M2 Note is an affordable device that costs about US$160, and comes with impressive high-end specs.

Another Chinese company Lenovo Group Ltd. has also released a new phablet device, the Lenovo K3 Note, last March and also comes with similar features. Here's the difference between the two new devices in terms of the specs and features.

The new Meizu M2 Note sports a 5.5 inch IGZO display screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution, while the new Lenovo K3 Note sports a 5.5 inch IPS display screen with the same 1080 x 1920 resolution. Both phones are also said to run on the same Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

Both phones also have the same 13 mega pixel rear cameras and 5 mega pixel cameras on the front. The K3 Note offers HDR, auto-focus, face detection and panorama camera features, while the Meizu M2 Note comes with the same capabilities along with a 1/3.06'' sensor size.

Under the hood, the Lenovo K3 Note is powered by the Mediatek MT6752 chipset, while the Meizu M2 Note comes with the slightly different Mediatek MT6753 processor. In addition, the two new devices have 2 GB worth of RAM and 16 GB internal memory.

Another option is available for the new Meizu M2 Note which offers up to 32 GB internal memory space, but while the K3 Note can be expanded up to 32 GB only, the M2 Note is expandable up to 128 GB, according to GSM Arena.

The Lenovo K3 Note is powered by a whopping 3000 mAh battery and the new Meizu M2 Note has a slightly larger non-removable 3100 mAh battery. The Meizu M2 Note offers users four color options, which are white, blue, gray and pink. For the Lenovo K3 Note, there are only white and yellow colors available.
