Wynn Resorts to Host Career Showcase for Charlestown Residents

Wynn Resorts will be holding a career showcase in Charlestown to allow local residents a chance to explore and learn about career opportunities that will be available when Everett’s resort opens.

The showcase, which is slated to take place on July 11, will feature employees from Wynn Las Vegas. They will give first-hand accounts of the opportunities and the family-like work qualities of the Wynn organization.

Attendees will learn about careers in hotel management, guest services, information technology, food and beverage, gaming operations, marketing, human resources and more.

“Identifying the team to run a world-class, five-star, $1.7 billion resort with 4,000 employees takes significant lead time” said Robert DeSalvio, president of Wynn Everett, in a statement. “This is an opportunity for people of all skill sets and types to talk with Wynn employees from Las Vegas and Everett and start thinking about what it would be like to be part of the Wynn Everett team. When people leave this event, I want them to understand that working for Wynn Resorts is more than a job, it’s a very special and rewarding career.”

Wynn Everett is a proposed $1.7 billion project that would create 4,000 permanent jobs.

The event will be held at Bunker Hill College on Saturday, July 11, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
