Prof. Chandra Krishnamurthy, Vice-chancellor of Pondicherry University, has been honoured with the “Ambassador of Peace” award by the Governing Body of the Universal Peace Forum of India (UPFI) which is affiliated with Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
The award was presented to Prof. Krishnamurthy at a function organised in the Executive Council Hall of the University on Thursday.
Dignitaries from the governing body of UPFI felicitated the Vice-Chancellor on the occasion.
Among those who participated were Prof. S. Pannirselvam, Registrar-in-charge, V. Indumathi, Director of Studies-in-charge and Prof.N.K.Jha, Dean.
