Madison Comprehensive High School

Valedictorian: Evan Basting, son of Rick and Diane Basting. Evan has served as president of the youth group at Trinity United Methodist Church, president of Madison Spanish Club, and is a member of the National Honor Society.

He plans to attend Cleveland State University to major in pre-medicine with an end goal to specialize the medical field. He is currently looking into the field of optometry.

Salutatorian: Desiree Peterson, daughter of Ed and Robyn Peterson. Desiree is a member of OCC Leadership, Key Club and Spanish Club. She is the historian for the National Honor Society and is a four-year-letter winner for Madison's Varsity Soccer team. She has been awarded the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leader of the Year, honor roll and Scholar Athlete for four years, OCC Honorable Mention for soccer, Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Award for Academic Excellence and Madison's 2015 Homecoming Queen.

She plans to attend Bowling Green State University where she will major in Allied Health and minor in Spanish. Once she has attained her bachelor's degree, she plans to earn her master's degree in physical therapy at Bowling Green State University and specialize in geriatrics. She would like to earn her doctorate.
