In trading on Friday, the iShares PHLX Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.8% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Teradyne (TER), up about 11.8% and shares of Altera (ALTR), up about 8.9% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the First Trust Dow Jones Internet Index Fund ETF (FDN), off about 0.3% in Friday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Friday were shares of Linkedin (LNKD), lower by about 20.2%, and shares of Virnetx Holding (VHC), lower by about 5.1% on the day.
