United Community Bank adds Coastal Georgia mortgage staff

United Community Bank will add five staffers based in Savannah to its mortgage services division for coastal Georgia, bank officials announced Tuesday.

Adam Hart will join the bank as vice president, regional sales manager to lead the mortgage team and focus on increasing service to the Brunswick, Savannah, St. Simmons and surrounding areas, according to the announcement.

"We are thrilled to have Adam lead our coastal Georgia mortgage group as we continue to focus on this growing market," said Mike Davies, president of United Community Mortgage Services. "Adam and his team will provide the momentum we need to strengthen our presence along the coast and give our veteran loan originators support to better serve our customers."

Hart, a Savannah native, has served as vice president, coastal area sales manager at Brand Bank and has held leadership roles at DHI Mortgage and Wells Fargo.

Other new staff members include:

• Padraic Robertson will serve as the Savannah marketmanager. Robertson is a Savannah native who has been in the financial industry for eight years.

• Sarah Arcanti joins the bank as a loan processor with more than 12 years of mortgage and financial experience.

• Greg Wood, who will be a senior mortgage underwriter, has held similar positions at The Coastal Bank, Primary Residential Mortgage and Fidelity Bank in Savannah.

• Jodi Lewis, who will serve as mortgage loan originator assistant, worked as a loan officer assistant at Brand Mortgage Group in Savannah.

The mortgage team will be based in the United Community Bank-White Bluff office, 8201 White Bluff Road.
