Wendy's unveils innovative restaurant design in St. Charles

With a revitalized décor, comfortable seating and other amenities, customers can enjoy a stunning new Wendy's experience when they visit the remodeled restaurant at 942 S. Randall Road in St. Charles.

The restaurant was remodeled using an innovative interior and exterior design, which is part of a comprehensive brand transformation to reinvent the Wendy's restaurant environment — from food innovation to building design to new packaging.

“This restaurant has bold curb appeal and features a compelling, innovative interior and exterior design,” said Mike Zak, franchise president. “It's very different from what our customers in St. Charles and Geneva are used to but we think they'll really like the fresh look and feel of the new Wendy's.”

Wendy's has conducted nationwide research and studied every aspect of the customer's experience in redesigning its restaurants. Based on this feedback, Wendy's completely overhauled the interiors and exteriors of the building. This restaurant features a contemporary design with large windows and natural materials. The interior showcases open, bright dining areas, with multiple seating options.

Remodeling restaurants is part of a multiyear strategy to reinvigorate the Wendy's brand throughout North America and the way customers interact with Wendy's. The brand strategy involves enhancing the Wendy's menu, as evidenced by launches of several new items and limited time items, such as the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger.

Other brand enhancements are new advertising and marketing campaigns, a revised Wendy's logo, new crew uniforms and product packaging innovations.

“We are making great progress in all of these areas, and we think our customers will be surprised and excited about their new Wendy's,” Zak said.

The Wendy's Company is the world's third largest quick-service hamburger company. The Wendy's system includes more than 6,500 franchise and company restaurants in the United States and 28 countries and U.S. territories worldwide. For more information, visit wendys.com.
